Alumni Council Challenge Videos

The Challenge

To encourage more student involvement, the Alumni Council has rallied together for the third year in a row to donate over $20,000 to award to student clubs and varsity athletic teams that participate in this year’s Challenge»

Participating groups were asked to:

Create a short video showing us, through their club or team, what is unique about student life at SMCM.

Voting (And the Winner is...)

Up to you! Each donor on Giving Tuesday, regardless of the gift designation, will receive ONE vote for the group that made the best video. However, there are a few rules:

The minimum donation to be eligible to vote is $10.
You must make your donation between 4:00 p.m. (EST) on 12.02 and 11:59 p.m. (EST) on 12.03.
You can vote online anytime during this period, or in-person on 12.03 between 10:00 a.m. (EST) and 7:00 p.m. (EST) at the Giving Tuesday Headquarters, located at the Campus Center.
Once again, you only get ONE vote. Even if you make multiple donations throughout the day, your first vote will be the only one counted.

Tracking the Frontrunners

All throughout Giving Tuesday, we’ll update a leaderboard page and share unofficial results on the Facebook event, through email, and live at the Giving Tuesday Headquarters.

Make sure to tune in often! After we tally the votes and remove any duplicates from the same donor, we’ll announce the winners on this site on Friday, 12.06.
