Giving Tuesday at St. Mary's College
What is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday started in 2012 as a global day of giving, fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
St. Mary’s College of Maryland embraced Giving Tuesday in 2014 and has raised over $2 million on this global day of giving thanks to supporters like you. This year, we hope you’ll help us reach our goal of 3,000 donors on Tuesday, November 28 with a gift to the LEAD Fund or to another SMCM fund of personal significance.
