Giving Tuesday at St. Mary's College

What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday started in 2012 as a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

The St. Mary’s College community embraced Giving Tuesday in 2014, and since then, has raised over $400,000 to support our students! On Tuesday, November 27, we hope you’ll help us reach this year’s goal of 1,000 donors on this very exciting and important day.
